Drizzle Diaries #3

Another rainy day, another rainy post.

I love the rains and I love kids playing in the rains! There's a lot of nostalgia in this!

#drizzlediaries #3 - Kids in the rain

Have fun in the rains!!

Drizzle Diaries #2

Drizzle Diaries #1

Mmmm... the rains :)

Here begins my rainy 100 project #drizzlediaries

#1 - The Girl in the Rain

Love the rains!

Drizzle Diaries!!

Rains are an awesome time to stay home and doodle. The perfect view outside my window helps as well!! Hot tea, hot coffee, warm blankets and books! And an occasional bowl of steaming maggi! To celebrate the awesomeness that is rains I've decided to do something awesome! Hence, Coming up are 100 rain doodles -  from drizzle diaries :D  The first time I'm going to do something like this >_< So feel free to help me out with suggestions for posts, and your usual love is much appreciated ^_^

And watch this space for #drizzlediaries

Roooooney!!!

And its a double post once more!

Here he is, the next requested player on "Fifa -Folks" for my facebook page - www.facebook.com/the/art.of.arch - Rooney!

He's probably the cutest player I've seen, he just has that quality about him, or maybe he just photographs really well :D

Here he is, Mr. Wayne Rooney, the pride and joy of Manchester United and England, a superb striker indeed ^^

Rocket Robben!

Another player by request on my facebook page - Arjen 'Rocket' Robben.

He looks so much like Esaka from Hungry Heart! They even play the same position!!!
For a minute there I was almost convinced he was the reference used for Esaka, till it dawned on me that thats probably not very probable.

Anyhooo... here he is. Mr. Rocket Robben, midfielder for Netherlands and Bayer Munich

Happt #fifa season!

Next up on Fifa Folks - C. Ronaldo

Yo!

Another one for the Fifa-Folks - Cristiano Ronaldo ^_^

A hit with football fans as well as the ladies.

Also, this was requested by a lady friend of mine ^^

So here he is,the pride of Portugal - CR7!

Fifa Folks - Neymar!

So I thought I'd make something to show my love for all the amazing players this world cup season. And thats how "Fifa Folks" was created. I plan on making cute illustrations of the players, based on requests from people following my facebook page - www.facebook.com/the.art.of.arch ( be sure to check it out ^^)

As a tribute to the hosting country, as well as for his sheer awesomeness, I started with Neymar ^_^

Lots more to come, so watch my blog for updates ^___^

FIFA 2014!!

Fifa is here ^_^

To commemorate the awesomeness that is FIFA, here is a little something by yours truly :)

Enjoy the world cup folks!

My New Reel

After a long long time, I've updated my reel to include some of my best work.

The first shot especially, is one of my favorites because,

A- Its a F.R.I.E.N.D.S shot.

B- I think it turned out pretty well :)

I animated, textured and rendered out the shot. Took me about 2 weeks of relaxed working. The rig used is The Andy Rig (pretty obvious I guess). I wanted to try out a different look from the usual soft 3d look I go for.

The shot happens to be my first successfully completed personal "Advanced Acting" shot.

So here it is, my sweet n short reel, with the above mentioned shot and a few others.

As always, constructive criticism is most welcome ^^

Tea-lovin!

Here's yet another tea based artwork of mine ^__^

God! I love tea! The aroma of a good cup of ginger tea makes me go all light headed.

Not to mention that a good cup of tea gets me going like anythin!!

Cheers!

Another 2d morph I did for Ganesh Chaturthi this year

It brought lots of fun... plus loads of improvement to the table!

I've been logo-lized ^^

Finally!!!

After months of yearning, I've been blessed with this.
A master-stroke of brilliance designed by Ms. Nikita Desle

My logo ^_^

I fell in love with it at first sight.

So yaaaay! ^_^

My very own logo!

Feels like the start of something promising ^^

Happiness in 2d Morphing

So here's a new one.

What happens when you love Tea and books and are learning the art of 2d animation?

This is What

My first attempt at 2d morphing resulted in a crude but cute video ^_^

Feeling Japan!

Another long overdue post.

So i love Japan! The food (untried) , the clothes (untried) and the art (finally something I have tried)

The doramas, The anime, the j-pop.  (i do realise i've been over using "the" word) . Tried 'em all. N love 'em still!

So when an event like Feel Japan comes up, an fan can't miss it can she?? Yes she can! And she is. Missing it as she types this. Because she has other things to do today. On her singular day off.

Moving on.., they have a contest for us fans. To flaunt our work and to declare our love for their cool country in a very public place. With lots of fun involved.

And so i participated.

This here is what i made for the Cool Japan Festival 2013. And it did not make it to the top ten this year *sweatdrop* Not that it matters, coz i had fun making it  *grin*

The theme was "Cool Japan - Your Anime Interpretation"

The concept of the artwork is that I've tried to depict the awesomeness of Japan in its own flag. The samurai, horror, anime, food, tradition -and of course! cherryblossoms!!

While I'm at it, I shall also post what I made last year. Which did make it to the top 10 *biig grin*

Plus I actually got to go to the fest last year! *super big grin*

The theme last year was "Traditional/ Modern Japan"

I picked a fusion of the two, and ended up with this ↑.

Like what you see?? Or not???

Either way, lemme know ^_^

Sunday Sketch!

Time for another sunday sketch ! When you've got little time on your hands and your hand itches to draw something... you end up makin somethin like this...

Well.. I did anyway :D

Pretty random in the style department. Just trying my hand at stuff to see what style ends up as mine :)

The Ninja Way!

Another PS creation! This time I've created one of my favorite characters - A ninja!! Everybody loves ninjas! (well..everyone with good taste anyway) *dodges saucers from the ones with bad taste* :P
So heres my little ninja girl posing with her coconut cutters.

Pose Practice aside.. I had great fun making this. So I decided to make another one - a tribute to the song that has jolted the world awake - a tribute to PSY ... with Oppa Ninja Style

Pose Practice with a ninja is fun. They're cool, mysterious and veeryyy flexible. So here's Mr. Ninja doin' somethin' everybody else is doing for a change - Dancing gangnam style.

Anime X Photoshop!

Here's some more of my PS work. anime related of course... when i first learned Photoshop, all I wanted to do was create an image which would look like its from an anime... something that could convey the incredible awesomeness associated with anime.

So i tried my hand at it...n came up with these...and some more i'll share soon :)

inspired by belly dancing and the sand card :D :D

My first self-done anime wallpaper!!!

Speed Paint!

Olla folks!

So heres a speedpaint of  the four super-kawaii characters from the anime ichigo mashimaro. Took me about 20 mins. This was my first speedpaint and I even took myself by surprise when this was done ^^

Little Lily

Photoshop is the best thing I've ever learnt. Next comes Maya :) But Photoshop makes me smile like nothing else does.

Here's Lily. Dunno why I call her that. It's jus what came to mind when I looked at her ^^
